Window cleaning is available as a regular booking or a one-off right across Birmingham: Selly Oak, Selly Park, Harborne, Edgbaston, Bournville, Cotteridge, Moseley, Kings Heath, Hall Green and Northfield, and out into Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, West Bromwich, Bearwood and Halesowen.
Birmingham housing gives us a lot of variety, and the method changes with it: Victorian bays and sashes in Selly Oak and Harborne, small-paned Arts and Crafts casements in the Bournville village, 1930s bays with wide sills in Cotteridge and Hall Green, weathered uPVC in Northfield, and three-storey elevations and full-height modern glazing in Edgbaston and Solihull.
We clean windows with a water-fed pole from the ground, using filtered water with the minerals taken out, so the glass dries clear without a squeegee. The pole reaches up to three storeys, which covers bays, dormers and the top floor of a tall Victorian terrace with no ladder against your gutter or sill.
Frames and sills are brushed with the pole on the same visit, and where a uPVC frame needs a dedicated cleaner we say so. On houses along the Bristol Road, the Hagley Road and Bearwood Road, traffic film builds on the glass within weeks; on shaded back elevations it is green algae on the frames. Shopfronts are done from an 8am start, before most shops open.
Pure water leaves nothing on the glass to dry into spots, so there is no detergent film for the next rain to catch on.
Anything taller than three storeys is outside what the pole reaches, and we tell you that when you ask for a quote.
Three of the areas nearest to us, each with its own page for window cleaning and the housing there.
Bay windows, sashes and the front elevations along the terraces, washed in pure water from the ground, with frames and sills brushed by the pole.
Edwardian bays and original leaded lights, washed gently in pure water from the ground, with frames and sills brushed by the pole.
Terrace windows on a regular cycle, plus shopfront glass along the Pershore Road, cleaned before opening.
If your property is somewhere else in Birmingham or the West Midlands, we almost certainly cover it. See all the areas we serve.
Residential window cleaning is priced per visit based on the number and type of windows and the height of the property. A regular booking costs less per visit than a one-off, because less builds up between cleans. If you only have your windows done once a year, each clean is a bigger job.
Period glazing costs more than modern units and we are upfront about why: small-paned casements in the Bournville village or original leaded lights have many times the edges and glazing bars of a single sealed unit and simply take longer to do properly. Commercial shopfront cleaning is quoted by frontage and frequency, and on busy roads short, frequent cleans keep the glass right better than occasional heavy ones.
Every four to eight weeks is the usual residential interval and what most houses want. Properties on main roads (the Bristol Road, Bearwood Road, the Hagley Road) pick up traffic film much faster and are better on the shorter interval. Commercial shopfronts on busy streets generally want weekly or fortnightly.

Good to know
Up to three storeys from ground level with our water-fed pole system. That covers most houses in Birmingham, including three-storey Victorian villas in Edgbaston and Moseley.
Both, as standard. On a 1930s bay in Cotteridge or weathered uPVC in Northfield the frames and sills hold most of the visible dirt, so cleaning only the glass leaves the job looking half finished.
That is what happens with ordinary tap water, which leaves mineral deposits as it dries. We use filtered, deionised pure water, which dries without leaving anything behind, so the glass does not need drying by hand and does not spot.
No, we just need access to the property. We will let you know we have been. For interior cleaning, someone lets us in or leaves a key or a code.
No. Pure water cleaning is not affected by rain the way traditional cleaning is: rain is not what makes glass dirty, and the pure water finish is not spoiled by it. We only stop for high winds, which make working at height with a pole unsafe.
Every four to eight weeks for most homes. If you are on a main road like the Bristol Road or the Hagley Road, closer to four, because traffic film builds quickly. Once or twice a year is possible but each clean will be a bigger, more expensive job.
Yes, carefully. Older leaded and metal-framed units need a gentler pure-water clean rather than scrubbing, and the pole brush works the surrounding timber or metal frame and the sill.
Each of these areas has its own window cleaning page, covering the housing there, how we get to it and the questions people in that area ask.
